After - Meet Marissa Cobb

She has a name now. (previously was Lucy Candy.... no.) I find names one of three ways. Babynames.com, the random name generator in CAS, or an android app that I love to fracking death. I love "real" names, names like you'd actually come across in real life. I don't like stripper names (like Lucy Candy) or "TV names", like River, Summer... they are becoming very popular though.



So  for kicks I made her everyday a bit cowgirl-ish.
          Everyday,                     Formal,                      Sleep,                    Athletic,               Swim

Formal is usually date night kinda clothes, so I let the sim wear what I think they would based on his/her personality. In game, I make a second formal outfit fitting of a wedding.

Sleep.. honestly I'm either nude, topless, or bottomless. And I can't make my sims do that. So I'm not sure what to put them in for bed, and there isn't a whole lot of options.

She's wearing green because I was messing with eyeshadow and green really suited her, so I kinda went with it on.. almost everything. :)

Also considered darkening her skin and hair for a Latin sort of look, only reason I didn't was because I wanted to see how keeping her blond would turn out. I can definitely see her as a Latin based ethnicity though.

So here's her side/profile again for comparison against "before". Not a whole lot of changes, I did make her boobs a bit smaller as I said I might. Bigger girls have bigger boobs, thinner girls have smaller boobs, and I just like when they look natural (no matter the weight).

So.. for ethnicity, I think I'll go ahead and say Latin-American (unless I get opinions suggesting otherwise..)

So you can see the before and after more easily.. It's not exactly the same sim. Widened the nose a bit. Didn't touch the eyes except for the makeup. Widened the mouth and unthickened the bottom lip a tad.

Mine could be the mother of the original.. sister.. mine definitely appears older.. bur they are both YA. I guess I don't like immature looking sims.

Note.. Lucy Candy (left) had her boob slider all the way to the right AKA they were are big as possible.. Marissa Cobb (right) had hers just right of the center. Maybe it's the shirt, but I think it also helps to have the weight heavier too.

Before

This is going to be a relatively short post, because all it is is a "before" like "before and after".

This sim is pretty. I don't foresee changing her face much. I am lightening her skin a bit (because tan is sexy, Orange is gross) and I am turning her into a real woman.

I mean that as in, real boobs, not fake, and add curves. I'm a woman, I'm bi. I will get turned on by just about anything, including thinner women. But this is a game, and this is my world. And in my world, women are thick and healthy.

So this is her before close up. Like I said, she's pretty. I think she needs a bigger smile..

One of the things I always do is I remove make up. When I put it back on them, I do what I would to my self. Generally it's light make up, Lipstick that you almost can't tell isn't natural. I usually choose between eyeliner OR eyeshadow. Usually the CC eyeshadow acts as eyeliner as well, and CC eyeliner does enough to make it seem like there is just enough eyeshadow on, that I don't see the purpose of both.

This is my last pic for this sim ATM.. I slid the boob slider down, and weight slider up (boobs still seem a bit big to me..) But she looks so much better. She's still thin, but she has curves. She has an ass. Her thighs are robust.

If there are any girls reading this, I'd like to tell you something. Men are all dogs. They'll hump just about 95% of the women they come across in a week. Generally they don't like the skin-and-bone models that are so.. "popular" now a days.. and generally they don't like huge women. But they're men. They'll hump those models, and those larger women. Men generally agree, they like thinner women with an ass to grab, boobs to grab, thighs they can hold on to. They like filling their hands. They're men, they generally think with a tiny brain...

I'm not saying gain weight, or lose weight, or be like this sim's weight. I'm saying be who you are. Because men.. are dogs.. and as long as you have the confidence to be who you are, the guy you want will notice you. That's the difference. Women they can use, and women they can be equal to. Body image is just that.. an image.

Meet Emilie Cote

Ok, so this is my pretty sim. I feel like she's so fragile, if I put her in game she may break. My conservative white girl. I imagine her as self-conscious and body-aware like I was when younger.  (maybe that explains the fragile image..) Blond and blue eyed really seemed to fit her, so I stuck with that and choose to accent it with light blue clothes. She likes to dress comfortable, and loves dresses, but she doesn't want to show skin if she can help it.

When I got Supernatural, I made her a fairy and let her in game across the street from my main at the time, a vamp. They became one time lesbian lovers.. all my female Sims do lol

These are her outfits.. Everyday, Formal, Sleep, Athletic, and Swim. As I said, I felt the light blue really fit her as a blond, blue eyed everyday American. Which.. now that I think about it, she looks more like an Austrailian.. Am I wrong? Comment what Nationality she looks like to you!

This Sim did make it to EA exchange, so I'll post the link here in case you want to download and maybe tweek her to your specifications. No expansions, just base game and good CC.

Self Introduction and Blabber

Hello fellow Sims 3 lovers! I'm Faye.

One of my favorite things to do in Sims 3 is creating Sims. I literally spend hours there. (if i try to play live mode, I just end up back in CAS every 10-15 minutes and every Sim can take 10 minutes to several hours.) This is Barbie for big girls and I played Barbie till I was 16. I brought my Barbies to my dorm room in Highschool..

Love of CAS includes, but is not limited to, picking up random Sims around town and using a cheat to take them back to CAS. (I can change their traits, name, favorites, everything) But when I do this, I limit the changes I make. I feel every Sim has a personality, and as soon as they hit my slab so to speak my brain starts making up a story for them. (plastic surgery humor)

Apart of creating Sims, is sharing them. I don't know if I can add downloads to this blog, but I can add photos and that's good enough for now. If I actually get some sort of following I'll find a way to share them via download as well.

EA Exchange blubber (just skip if you don't use it)
EA exchange has a lot of issues. I've tested the system by creating several Sims. Some complete CC, some no CC, some with no description, and I've experimented with file size and internet connection. Sims that go through are random. Large files, CC and no CC. I know it can't just be my internet because this issue has existed since at least 2012 and I am not the only Simmer with failed uploads. I do notice that as soon as it does not upload, deleting it from launcher and resharing it from CAS gives it better chance next time to go through. I have not tested yet to see if making minor changes allows it to go through, or if it just didn't upload from CAS to the Launcher right the first time.

I did attempt to use The Sims Resource to upload my Sims, but they have redonkulous stipulations regarding uploads.. I spent eight hours trying to read their rules and edit my submission of a Daenerys Targaryen Sim and they rejected it twice. Time I could have spent playing, or more importantly dishes.. sweeping, chores of any nature actually. (if you take time to read the photo and why they rejected it this time, I will say I don't know how to download sliders, I don't download skin, and I had already linked all CC, and tested the links to be sure they were good, even while logged out)

So I have to go and be a grown up with grownup responsibilities for the next several hours. When I get back, I think I'll post the Sim I personally think is the prettiest I've ever made. I can't describe her as anything but.... Pretty.
